On November 11, a delegation led by Qingdao Customs officials visited Rongcheng City, Weihai, to conduct an in-depth investigation into the development status of CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD., a core enterprise under the Xin Hong Group, as well as the construction progress of the Shandong Daidong Marine Industry Science and Technology Park (Daidong Shipyard). Wang Xiaojun, Chairman of Xinfa Holdings, provided a detailed briefing on the company's current business situation and future plans.

Focusing on Existing Strengths: Xin Hong Heavy Industry Sets a Benchmark for Northern Repair and Construction.

A delegation of leaders from Qingdao Customs conducted an on-site inspection of CUD (Weihai) Shipyard Co., LTD. Guided by Mr. Yao Yongke, Chairman of Xin Hong Group, the customs officials gained a detailed understanding of the shipyard's operations. As a Class-I open port designated by the state, CUD (Weihai) Shipyard boasts one 300,000-ton dry dock and one 200,000-ton dry dock, as well as a 3,000-meter-long outfitting berth, giving it strong capabilities to undertake the repair, modification, and construction of various large-scale vessels. The company not only provides employment for more than 1,500 local subcontractors but has also established close industrial chain collaborations with over 500 suppliers, making outstanding contributions to regional economic development. The customs officials highly praised CUD (Weihai) Shipyard's professional competence and market performance in the fields of bulk carriers, container ships, tankers, and offshore engineering equipment repair and construction.

Anchoring Future Development: Dadong Shipyard Builds a New High Ground for Offshore Engineering Equipment

Subsequently, the research team listened carefully to a detailed report on the planning and construction progress of the Dadao Shipyard. As a key project for Shandong Province in 2024, the Dadao Shipyard is committed to becoming “the most competitive large-scale shipbuilding and offshore engineering equipment repair and conversion base in northern China.” Chairman Wang briefed the customs officials, explaining that the project plans to build two ultra-large docks, each measuring 530 meters in length, equipped with world-class facilities such as 1,200-ton gantry cranes. The shipyard will focus on undertaking the construction of high-end offshore engineering equipment—including FLNG and FPSO—as well as large-scale green vessels. Upon full completion of the project, annual output value is expected to achieve a breakthrough leap forward.

Joint Efforts by Enterprises and Government: Precision Services to Safeguard Industries as They Set Sail for Greater Horizons

During the research and exchange session, leaders from Qingdao Customs listened carefully to Chairman Wang’s report on the company’s development issues and engaged in an in-depth discussion on matters such as marine-use approval and the construction of supporting facilities in the project’s advancement. The customs leaders stated that they would fully leverage their functional strengths to provide “one-stop” precise services in areas including customs clearance for ships and large-scale equipment imports and exports, as well as policy consultations. They also pledged to actively coordinate with relevant departments to jointly address the difficulties and bottlenecks encountered during the project’s development, thereby creating a more favorable business environment for enterprises.

This research visit not only demonstrates Qingdao Customs' deep concern and support for the development of key local enterprises, but also injects strong momentum into the future growth of Xin Hong Group.
